This leading Dublin four-star hotel is seeking a skilled professional to manage its group reservations function, ensuring an efficient reservations experience from quotation to contract to handover to the Operations team.
The Group Reservations Manager is responsible for quoting, converting, and managing all group accommodation enquiries, ensuring that the hotel revenue and reservations strategy are implemented in order to fully optimise hotel revenue.
Key Responsibilities
* Evaluate each enquiry to ensure it meets the hotel's standards and implement strategies to increase revenue.
* Coordinate with Hotel Operations to ensure smooth execution of group bookings.
* Recognise regular and repeat business and ensure special requests are clearly noted for Reception.
* Complete weekly/monthly group reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
* Ensure all filing is completed in an efficient and timely manner.
* Upsell and recommend the hotel facilities at all times.
* Implement the sales guidelines for groups and coordinate management of group business closely in conjunction with relevant hotel teams.
* Proactively identify low demand periods and help to develop a plan to improve performance.
* Ensure the effective implementation and compliance of all company Group Reservations SOPs.
* Assist with individual reservations as required.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years' experience within a hotel reservations office with experience of group reservations, four-star experience being a strong advantage. Must have keen attention to detail with good numeracy skills and excellent communication skills with fluent English, written and verbal.
