Job Overview
This is a technical leadership role that involves overseeing mechanical installations and commissioning projects. The successful candidate will have experience in managing site operations, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
* Attend site meetings and coordinate with sub-contractors to ensure project progress.
* Set up and maintain site offices and stores with proper signage.
* Manage staff and coordinate installations safely and efficiently.
* Issue regular reports and assist with programme planning and timesheets.
* Order materials and track deliveries from suppliers.
* Oversee commissioning, testing, and project closeout procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proven experience in managing HVAC/mechanical projects on site.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical services, builders work, and technical drawings.
* Ability to manage staff, sub-contractors, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
* Experience in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring progress against milestones.
* Competence in ordering materials, tracking deliveries, and coordinating with suppliers.
* Relevant trade background or third-level qualification in construction or engineering.
