Job Overview:
The Field Service Engineer is responsible for delivering exceptional on-site service, support and maintenance of complex equipment and systems.
As a key member of our team, you will investigate faults, approve and sign off documentation and checklists ensuring the correct functioning of devices and systems.
Providing application support and customer operational and maintenance training is a critical element of this role. You will serve as the liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Fault finding, servicing and repairing medical equipment
2. Updating service and repair systems
3. Coordinating with procurement teams to requisition spare parts
4. Attending training courses and refresher training as required
5. Reviewing process and equipment maintenance documentation and SOPs as necessary
6. Ensuring compliance with company, EHS & regulatory requirements
7. Participating in cross-functional teams as necessary
8. Ensuring adherence to quality, health & safety, and customer site regulations
9. Completing relevant paperwork in an accurate timely manner
10. Conducting on-site installation of complex equipment and following testing procedures to ensure proper working order
11. Performing scheduled preventative maintenance visits
12. Providing troubleshooting and repair support for customers and other field service personnel
13. Traveling to customer sites to resolve problems or support other field service personnel
14. Completing and submitting field service reports
15. Delivering training for customers and users on system maintenance
