Senior Construction Project Manager Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Construction Project Manager. This critical client-facing role requires a deep understanding of Irish contract law, strong commercial acumen, and a proven track record of delivering projects successfully on time and budget within a consultancy setting.
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their objectives, expectations, and governance requirements are meticulously managed and met throughout the project lifecycle.
* Establish and implement robust project governance frameworks, including change control, risk registers, financial reporting, and detailed program management.
* Expertly administer various forms of construction contracts, including GCCC (Government Contracts Committee for Construction), RIAI, handling certification, claims management, and dispute resolution.
The ideal candidate will have:
* 4+ years of experience in the Irish market operating as a Senior or Lead PM level, preferably within a professional consultancy or client-side environment.
* Degree qualified in Project Management / Construction / Engineering / Quantity Surveying.
* Professional Status highly desirable for this senior role.
You will be responsible for:
* Managing and monitoring project budgets, conducting value engineering, processing interim payments, and managing project close-out accounts.
* Leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary design teams (Architects, Engineers, QS, etc.) and contractors, driving effective communication and decision-making.
* Overseeing the design process, ensuring constructability, quality compliance, and adherence to all Irish Building Regulations and Health & Safety requirements.
This is a permanent staff role based mainly in office with client site visits offering a competitive salary package.
