Ratoath Family Practice is a newly established single-handed GP practice in Ratoath, Co. Meath. We are seeking a Medical Receptionist / Administrator to join the practice from February 2026.
This role is available on a part-time basis. Exact hours and working days will be discussed at interview. Salary will depend on experience
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
* Welcoming patients and managing front-desk enquiries in a courteous and professional manner
* Answering and appropriately screening telephone calls
* Scheduling and managing patient appointments
* Managing email and written correspondence
* Processing repeat prescription requests and medical certificates in line with practice protocols
* Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality at all times
* Handling payments and general administrative tasks
* Managing incoming and outgoing post and practice communications
Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting is essential. Familiarity with GP clinical software would be an advantage, with training available if required.
