Job Title: Senior Operations Manager
Location: Remote - with travel across Ireland and Northern Ireland
Salary: €100,000 - €120,000 per annum, plus performance bonus and shares
Employment Type: Permanent Full Time
Due to continued growth, our client is recruiting a Senior Operations Manager to lead the development and delivery of support services across a fast-paced, multi-site healthcare organisation. Sitting within the Senior Leadership Team, this role carries broad responsibility for driving operational excellence, ensuring best-in-class performance in IT, Facilities, Procurement, Stores, and Property Management.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and direction to support services, ensuring cross-functional efficiency and alignment.
Manage external partners and subcontractors through effective relationship and contract management.
Define and implement governance structures for service procurement and delivery.
Collaborate with SLT members and General Managers to optimise service quality, resource use, and patient experience.
Champion continuous improvement and innovation within operational frameworks.
Establish strong internal systems and data management processes across support services.
Lead, mentor, and motivate teams, building a culture of operational excellence.
Own the budget and performance of the support services function, driving value and efficiency.
Develop a support services strategy in line with organisational goals and industry best practices.
Ensure the IT strategy supports operational needs and regulatory compliance.
Oversee performance of external contractors and develop strategic partnerships.
Ensure consistency of delivery and compliance across jurisdictions (Ireland and Northern Ireland).
Experience - Must Haves:
Significant experience in a senior operations or business improvement role.
Track record of success in multi-site environments.
Expertise in project management and process development.
Proven ability to implement policies and achieve measurable results.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Data-driven, with strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Adept at building strong, cross-functional relationships.
Nice to Haves:
Background in healthcare operations.
Cross-border experience (Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland).
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, healthcare admin, etc.).
Master's degree / MBA preferred.
Experience in regulated environments is a plus.
