Production Planner - Manufacturing Location: Louth | Full-Time | Permanent (39 hours per week) The Company A leading manufacturing business with a strong reputation for quality, efficiency, and innovation. Our client is a precision engineering company with some prestigious clients in the medical device, aerospace and automotive sector and has been experiencing continued growth in the last few years and is now seeking a Production Planner to join its operations team and support the delivery of customer-focused production goals. The Role Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Planner will be based in Louth and will be responsible for the effective planning, organisation, and coordination of production schedules to ensure customer demand is met efficiently and on time. This role requires excellent communication, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to managing resources and deadlines. Key Responsibilities Develop monthly and weekly production schedules in line with forecasts and capacity. Track production performance and address variances or bottlenecks. Liaise with production, engineering, and procurement to align materials and schedules. Manage ERP planning data and ensure material availability for production. Support continuous improvement in planning processes and KPI performance. The Person Minimum 3 years' experience in production planning or scheduling (manufacturing preferred). Candidates working in a production lead, or supervisory role will also be considered Strong IT and Excel skills; ERP system experience (Epicor advantageous). Excellent organisational, communication, and time management abilities. Detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
