Job Title: Advanced Paediatric Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in East Limerick. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, child-centred care to children aged 0-18 with complex needs.

In this role, you will manage a varied caseload, provide clinical leadership, support junior staff, and contribute to service development. You will work closely with families, educators, and allied health professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver advanced Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention for children with developmental, sensory, and physical challenges.
* Provide clinical leadership and support to junior team members, including mentoring, supervision, and case consultation.
* Manage a complex caseload, prioritising care needs while promoting functional independence and participation in everyday activities.
* Collaborate closely with families, educators, and allied health professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
* Contribute to the planning and development of paediatric Occupational Therapy services within the team.
* Lead or participate in service audits, quality improvement projects, and best practice initiatives.
* Support staff training and the integration of evidence-based practices.
* Maintain high standards of documentation in line with guidelines.

Requirements:

* CORU registration as an Occupational Therapist.
* Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience, ideally including paediatrics or community-based care.
* Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Demonstrated experience in multidisciplinary team working and case coordination.
* Proven ability to manage a complex caseload and support service development.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on family-centred care.
* Full clean driver's licence and access to a car for community-based visits.
