Travel: Regular Ireland‑based and occasional international travel
Salary: €103,000 – €126,000 (highly dependent on experience) + Bonus + Excellent

We are recruiting for a growing specialist consulting organisation with an established international presence and an excellent reputation in Lean, Continuous Improvement, and Operational Excellence delivery.
This is a permanent opportunity for an experienced Lean practitioner to play a key role within a major transformation programme across highly regulated manufacturing environments.
The position will suit a hands‑on, results‑driven and energetic individual who enjoys operating within fast‑paced operational environments, influencing stakeholders at multiple levels, and delivering sustainable, measurable improvement.
The Opportunity:
You will work closely with operational leadership teams and manufacturing personnel to deliver Lean transformation activity across complex regulated production environments.
This is a highly visible, delivery‑focused role centred around practical implementation, leadership engagement, capability development, and achieving tangible operational results.
Key areas of focus are likely to include:
Kaizen activity and structured improvement workshopsTiered Management and visual performance systemsOEE, operational flow and manufacturing performance improvementChangeover reduction / SMED activityLeadership coaching and capability buildingLean deployment within manufacturing support and laboratory environmentsEmbedding sustainable Continuous Improvement behaviours and culture
You will be expected to lead from the front, build credibility quickly within client environments, and maintain momentum across operational improvement initiatives.
The role offers excellent exposure across multiple operational environments, with the opportunity to contribute to wider transformation programmes over time within an expanding international consulting business.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong experience within Lean / Operational Excellence / Continuous Improvement, ideally gained within pharmaceutical, medical device, life sciences, or other highly regulated manufacturing environmentsMinimum Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required (Black Belt advantageous)Proven experience delivering measurable operational improvements within manufacturing or operations environmentsStrong facilitation, coaching and stakeholder engagement capability, with the ability to influence effectively from shopfloor through to senior leadership levelExperience leading Kaizen activity, performance improvement initiatives, and capability‑building programmesHigh levels of personal drive, energy and accountability, with the ability to operate effectively within demanding client environments
Previous consulting experience is advantageous, but by no means essential. We are equally interested in strong industry‑based Operational Excellence practitioners who can demonstrate the ability to influence, coach, engage stakeholders and deliver sustainable results within complex operational environments.
Additional Considerations:
This role requires flexibility for regular travel across Ireland and, at times, wider international travelDue to the pace and visibility of the programme, candidates should ideally be comfortable operating within dynamic, fast‑moving manufacturing environmentsA full driving licence is required
