We are currently seeking experiencedPlant Fitterto join our team.
responsible for maintain, service, diagnose and repair plantmachineryand small tools to ensure safe,reliableand efficient operation across Wills Bros projects.
Youwill handle mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems and undertake weldingandfabrication tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Service, inspect and repair plantmachineryand tools (e.g., consaws, drills, compactorsetc).
Diagnose faults on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems usingappropriate toolingand diagnostic equipment.
Perform welding and fabrication (MIG/TIG/arc as applicable) for brackets, guards, buckets, and minor structural repairs.
Completepreventative maintenance schedules, oil sampling, filters, fluids, hoses, pins & bushes, track/undercarriage work, battery/charging systems, and cooling systems.
Repair/replace hydraulic components (pumps, motors, rams, valves, hoses) and electrical components (looms, alternators, sensors, starters, lighting).
Complete service sheets, inspectionreportsand job cards accurately; update records.
Ensure workcomplieswithmanufacturer guidance, and company procedures.
Prepare plant for regulatory inspections; support third-party inspections and rectify findings.
Requirement:
A Minimum of4+years' experience as aPlantFitter or Mechanical Fitter.
Strong experience in plant maintenance and small tools (incl. con saws and drills).
Ability to read technical drawings/manuals and follow OEM procedures.
Full, clean drivinglicence; comfortable with travel and site work.
