Job Description & Skills Required
Job Responsibilities
1. Full responsibility for the Onboarding & Offboarding process.
2. Supporting the delivery of a complete onboarding & offboarding programme.
3. Assisting in research for onboarding initiatives and using data to inform and build induction resources.
4. Communicating onboarding progress to hiring managers and stakeholders, offering solutions, and adopting continuous improvement.
5. Maintaining knowledge of onboarding and offboarding legislation and employer responsibilities, informing management of changes.
6. Monitoring onboarding to ensure a positive experience and timely processing in HR systems and payroll.
7. Managing leavers, ensuring removal from HR systems and payroll, and ensuring a positive offboarding experience.
8. Liaising with vendors for employee offboarding.
9. Communicating offboarding progress and solutions to managers and stakeholders.
10. Managing ad hoc projects alongside BAU activities.
11. Assisting in creating and revising HR policies to align with regulations.
12. Supporting the embedding of the new HRIS system and becoming a super user.
13. Collaborating within the HR team to drive employee engagement, EVP, and well-being.
14. Managing records and tracking updates for employees in the onboarding/offboarding service.
15. Responding to queries via HR Helpdesk and mailbox professionally and promptly.
16. Supporting senior HR staff on various projects.
Experience and Qualifications Required
* 2-3 years experience in a similar role.
* Experience in policy creation.
* Advanced Excel skills for reporting metrics.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience working in a busy department with multiple responsibilities.
* Genuine desire to resolve employee issues professionally and timely.
