Cavendish View School provides nurturing and stimulating education for pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (A.S.C) and special education needs (S.E.N) aged 5 to 11 years.

Our multidisciplinary team includes teachers, a family liaison officer, teaching assistants, a speech and language therapist, an occupational therapist, and a mental health practitioner.
About The Role
We seek enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support Cavendish School in Liverpool, working with students aged 5-11 years with Autism Spectrum Condition (A.S.C) and special education needs (S.E.N).

Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher to deliver high-quality education
- Provide individual or group support to help students access the curriculum independently
- Assist in organizing the classroom, resources, student groupings, and displays for a stimulating learning environment suitable for students with ASC, SCLN, or complex needs
- Manage sensory needs, implementing sensory diets or self-regulatory strategies as advised by the professional team
- Help learners develop or refine independence skills, including personal care when needed
