Overview
The position is part of Zurich's Group Audit team, a global community that works together to keep Zurich safe. The team includes over 250 colleagues from 33 nationalities and focuses on high performance, collaboration, innovation, and data‑driven insights.
Responsibilities
* Accountable for the end‑to‑end delivery of audits, collaborating with audit team members across Group Audit.
* Lead risk assessment, audit planning, determine scope, choose techniques, and deliver high‑quality audit outcomes.
* Prepare and deliver audit reports to senior management, Life Audit Committee, and other stakeholders.
* Support reporting to Group and local Boards and Audit Committees.
* Maintain stakeholder relationships, communicate findings, influence actions, and ensure regulatory compliance.
* Drive continuous improvement, promote ethics and integrity, and model a growth mindset.
* Apply new‑world skills (Data Analytics, IT, GenAI) and Agile methods to enhance audit effectiveness.
Qualifications
* Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree and/or professional qualification (e.g., chartered accountant, CPA, CIA, CISA, MBA).
* Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience, preferably at a Manager or Senior Auditor level within Internal Audit, Risk Management or Compliance in the insurance or financial services sector.
* Strong understanding of Internal Audit Standards, methodology, and internal control frameworks.
* Excellent report writing and stakeholder‑management skills.
* Experience dealing with regulators or external stakeholders preferred.
* Knowledge of Life Insurance, P&C insurance a plus.
* Proficiency in data analytics, IT, and AI, with the ability to apply these skills to audit outcomes.
* Strong project‑management skills and ability to coach and lead a team.
* Fluent verbal and written English language skills.
* Passion for continuous learning and growth.
Location & Employment
Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland – hybrid role open to part‑time or full‑time applicants. Flexibility can be discussed during the interview.
