Job Summary
Plan, organize, and lead construction projects by developing timelines, budgets, and resource plans. Ensure compliance with regulations, manage project teams, monitor progress, and implement quality control to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure timely and cost-effective construction project delivery
Ensure all construction activities comply with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental requirements
Lead and coordinate project teams including architects, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals
Monitor project progress continuously and implement adjustments to maintain schedule and budget adherence
Develop and enforce quality control and assurance procedures to meet required construction standards
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams to resolve issues and optimize project outcomes
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and records for transparency and accountability
Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities clearly to stakeholders and senior management
Facilitate project meetings to enhance team communication and collaboration
Assist in preparing cost estimates and managing site safety documentation and coordination
Support project accountant with monthly subcontractor billings and pay applications
Assist project manager with assigned tasks to ensure smooth project execution
Required competencies and certifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations
Proficiency in project management software and tools
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
Experience managing and supervising construction teams
Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
