JLL seeks a skilled Carpenter to support our major pharmaceutical client's manufacturing facility in Ireland. You'll maintain and improve facility infrastructure while ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards and GMP requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform carpentry installations, repairs, and maintenance in pharmaceutical manufacturing environmentConstruct, install, and repair wooden structures, fixtures, doors, windows, and flooringConduct regular inspections of building exteriors and interiors to identify maintenance needsFabric maintenance as requiredMaintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance and repair activitiesKeep all storage rooms clean and organizedRegularly check functionality of kitchen equipment and coordinate necessary servicing or repairsIdentify and manage critical spare parts and maintenance supplies inventoryLiaise with third-party suppliers and contractors for various maintenance activitiesVendor management on site and escorting in line with client security requirement and policiesRead blueprints and specifications for carpentry projectsBuild custom shelving, workbenches, and storage solutionsConduct preventive maintenance and respond to urgent repairsEnsure all work meets GMP standards and health & safety regulationsCollaborate with maintenance team and other tradesMaintain accurate work recordsAdhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and procedures, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment.Role duties and responsibilities as outlined in this description are not exhaustive and subject to alignment to changes based on site requirements.Essential RequirementsRecognized carpentry apprenticeship or equivalent qualification3-5 years carpentry experience (pharmaceutical/industrial preferred)Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machineryValid Safe Pass certification and manual handling trainingUnderstanding of building codes and safety regulationsAbility to work various shifts and respond to emergency callsPhysical capability to lift heavy materials and work at heightsPreferred QualificationsExperience in regulated environments (pharmaceutical, medical device, food)GMP knowledge
