MAINTENANCE TECHNICAN
We are looking for a Maintenance technician to join our team. The role will provide technical support for manufacturing operations at our Cork site in Bandon, Co Cork.
We are looking for a person with good technical knowledge, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
* Ensure all engineering activities are carried out in compliance with Health and Safety regulations and always encourages safe working practices.
* Work continuously to ensure that all scheduled engineering maintenance tasks are actioned.
* Diagnose and repair any faults or failures in a timely manner.
* Identify and implement continuous improvement activities for existing equipment and manufacturing processes.
* Ensure all relevant documentations and records are kept up to date, as required.
* Must liaise with external contractors 'OEM'S' and suppliers.
* Identify, source, and manage, parts and components crucial to machine maintenance and repairs
Key Skills and Qualifications
* A self-motivated hard worker who will work well as part of a team.
* Previous experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment is desirable.
* Must have a hands on approach to machine repair and have a proven record in the dismantling, repair, and reassembly, of mechanical components.
* Must have a good analytical approach to problem solving.
* Experience in diagnostics and repair of pneumatic, and electrical systems and the ability to interpret drawings for the same would be preferred.
* Relevant engineering qualifications in an electrical, mechanical, or mechatronic discipline would be an advantage.
* Must have ability to time manage and prioritise tasks.
* Must be able to work and communicate well with co-workers and management daily.
