Title of Job/Grade: Clinical Nurse Manager CNM2 HDU Reports to: Director of Nursing Reporting relationships: CNM 1, Staff Nurse, HCA, Support Workers Type of Contract: Permanent - Full Time Applications are invited for the above position of Clinical Nurse Manager 2 HDU.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and enjoy the challenges of working in a dynamic team environment and possess the following skills at a minimum: Essential Qualifications Registered with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) or eligible to register with NMBI Essential Experience 3-5 years post registration experience in an acute hospital setting Post Graduate Diploma in Critical Care Minimum of 2 years management experience at CNM1 Completed a Management Programme or Commitment to undertake a relevant Management Qualification following appointment Desirable Experience MSc in Nursing/Management/Leadership Essential Competencies Strong leadership and communication skills Proven ability in the areas of people management, resource management, conflict resolution, problem solving, decision making, change & innovation, organisational knowledge and operational planning Excellent interpersonal, communication and IT skills essential Experience of personal & professional development Knowledge of Quality, & safety management, Patient Safety & Risk management Informal enquiries to CLOSING DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS 18 TH JULY 2025 Bon Secours Health System is an equal opportunities employer.
