The Business Unit Manager will play a vital role in managing daily operations, ensuring efficient and effective performance, and maintaining the highest standards of service in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) setting. Reporting to the General Manager, this customer-facing position will also contribute to long-term strategic goals and be an active member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).

Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
* Lead and oversee daily operational activities in your unit in a high-paced FMCG environment, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
* Optimize processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance service delivery.
* Manage budgets and operational resources effectively to achieve cost control while delivering on performance targets.
* Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Team Management
* Build, lead, and develop operational teams, ensuring staff are well-equipped and motivated to meet demanding operational requirements.
* Implement training programs tailored to the FMCG environment to enhance skills and maintain operational excellence.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork, aligned with the company's core values.
Customer-Focused Leadership
* Serve as a contact for customers, understanding their needs and delivering solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and partners, ensuring seamless service delivery.

Key Requirements
Experience and Skills
* Bachelor's degree in operations management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Additional certifications in areas such as lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or project management are highly desirable.
* Proven leadership experience in operations within the
FMCG or food manufacturing industry
, with a strong track record of achieving operational efficiency and excellence.
* Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale operations in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
* Strong customer-facing experience, with the ability to develop and nurture key client relationships.
