Senior Mechanic Job Opportunity
This is a senior-level role that involves leading a team of mechanics and logistical personnel in maintaining an extensive fleet of golf course maintenance equipment.
The successful candidate will have the ability to produce high-quality work, maintain detailed records, and work effectively as part of a team.
* Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical defects/failures in various golf course maintenance equipment.
* Instruct and/or train golf course maintenance workers regarding preventive maintenance and safe operation of equipment.
* Keep records for equipment and parts inventory purchases and completed works.
* Complete regular servicing of all equipment and sharpening of mowing equipment.
* Comply with all relevant legislation and regulations.
* Practical experience in greenkeeping and/or working with golf course equipment.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and use of IT systems.
* Qualified Mechanic.
* Electro-hydraulic experience is an advantage.
* Hold a full driving license.
This is a full-time permanent position based in Surrey. The salary will be dependent on experience.
