Your new role
* Lead audit engagements and ensure audit files are completed in a timely manner
* Follow audit practices and procedures in accordance with International Standards in Auditing
* Prepare audit workpapers in support of the audit report
* Conduct process interviews, document narratives, analyse process controls and perform testing of key controls.
* Make recommendations to clients that address risks and control weaknesses
* Assist in the preparation and delivery of audit reports which are shared with directors and shareholders.
* Participate in client calls
* Be able to guide, coach and provide supervision to audit staff. Your management of the staff has a big impact on how well they develop and progress.
* Reporting directly to partners and managers on audit issues
* Developing audit client relationships
* Working within audit budgets
What you'll need to succeed
* New Qualified / Part Qualified ACA, ACCA, CPA with a minimum of 2-3 years in practice
* Strong knowledge of FRS102 and Companies Act 2014
* Audit experience is essential
* Experience of consolidation and group accounts is a distinct advantage.
