Job Title: Catering Manager
Catering managers are responsible for the overall performance of their catering department. They lead teams to achieve strategic objectives and manage budgets, resources and staff.
Responsibilities include:
* Leadership: Develop and implement strategies for staff engagement, training and development.
* Operations: Manage food safety management systems, ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, and maintain high standards in all aspects of catering service delivery.
* Communication: Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth service delivery, communicate effectively with nursing staff to ensure patients receive correct meals, and respond to patient and customer feedback.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in healthcare, hospitality or contract catering in a supervisory role.
* A passion for food and patient care.
* Hold a Bachelor of Arts NFQ Level 7 in Hospitality Management from an approved educational institute.
