HR Officer Public Sector (6-Month Contract) Location: South Dublin / Hybrid Salary:€35,000pa (pro rata) Our client, a respected public sector organisation, is seeking a CIPD-qualified HR Officer for a 6-month full-time assignment. The Role: Reporting to the HR Manager, the successful candidate will focus on the review, development, and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and the staff handbook, ensuring compliance with Irish legislation and sector best practice. Key Responsibilities: Support the modernisation of the HR policy framework and staff handbook Ensure internal HR documentation is compliant, accessible, and current Assist with audits and HR system improvements Provide administrative support across recruitment, learning & development, and employee engagement as required Essential Requirements: CIPD qualification in Human Resource Management Minimum 1 years experience in a busy HR environment Strong administrative and organisational skills High level of discretion and professionalism Excellent communication and MS Office skills Desirable: Experience in a public sector, regulatory, or unionised setting Familiarity with Irish employment law and digital HR systems This is a blended working role based in South Dublin, offering the chance to make a real impact.
