Surface Facilities Co-ordinator
Objective:
This position is responsible for ensuring all surface facilities are well-maintained and comply with relevant safety regulations.
* Coordinate maintenance activities across the site.
* Manage logistics and contract compliance for concentrate transport.
* Oversee site services and contractor performance, focusing on continuous improvement.
* Support budgeting and financial planning for departmental operations.
* Participate in equipment and service procurement to ensure optimal functionality.
* Lead initiatives and projects aimed at improving site efficiency and effectiveness.
* Attend management meetings to stay informed and contribute insights.
* Monitor project progress, including timelines, budgets, and delivery schedules.
* Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for surface maintenance.
* Provide training for surface operations staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
* Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety (EHS) standards and human resources (HR) policies.
* Maintain digital records of contracts and safety protocols.
* Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for contractor service performance.
* Promote sustainability and environmental responsibility within site operations.
* Be part of emergency response teams and participate in incident investigations when needed.
