About the Role:
1. Reconcile financial records, including bank accounts and ledgers, to ensure accuracy and integrity.
2. Contribute to the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements, providing valuable insights into our organization's financial health.
3. Collaborate with the finance team to develop and implement budgeting and forecasting strategies.
4. Support the compilation of VAT returns and other statutory tax submissions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
5. Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, presenting findings to inform business decisions.
6. Assist with the year-end audit process, working closely with external auditors to ensure a smooth transition.
7. Take on additional projects as needed, applying expertise to drive business growth and efficiency.
Requirements:
* Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
* Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero, and Microsoft Office applications.
* A minimum of three years' experience in a related accounting role.
