Head of People & Culture, Fanagans Funeral Directors
Fanagans Funeral Directors were founded in 1819 and are the largest Funeral Directors in Ireland located throughout Dublin City and County. Our purpose is to continue the tradition of serving our community through providing Excellence in Funeral Care. We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Facilities Co-ordinator to join our team on a fixed term (11 months) part-time basis (24 hours per week).
Role Purpose
* To deliver on our Brand Promise Excellence in Funeral Care by ensuring our premises and facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
* To project manage the renovation of existing locations and co-ordinate the development of new locations.
* To support the Health & Safety Officer in the delivery of our culture of safety strategy.
Qualifications
* Certification in facilities management or related field.
* Health & Safety qualification.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Facilities Co-ordinator or in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of facilities management operations and best practices.
* Experience working in industries with excellent health & safety standards.
* Experience with energy conservation and environmental initiatives.
* Familiarity with building systems and maintenance procedures.
* Health & Safety Officer experience.
* Experience in carrying out light maintenance and repair works.
* Experience co-ordinating and delivering training.
* Knowledge and experience of the funeral business.

* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
