Candidates must be experienced Social Care practitioners. They must hold hold a degree in Social Care or equivalent relevant qualification, and must be registered with CORU.
Candidates should;
* Have a minimum of 3 years' experience working as Social Care Worker in an area providing services for people with an intellectual disability.
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams in delivering person-centred, individualised care plans, ensuring dignity, respect, and tailored support for each individual.
* Experience working within residential services is desirable.
* Experience working in a management role would be advantageous.
* Must be Registered as a Social Care Worker with CORU.
* Trained and experienced in the Safe Administration of Medication.
* Excellent working knowledge of HIQA and other relevant bodies.
* Be enthusiastic, flexible and committed.
* Have strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
* Have a multi-disciplinary team approach to service delivery.
* Have a B Full Licence for at least 2 years
* D1 licence desirable
* Knowledge and experience of working with people presenting with challenging behaviour would be an advantage
