Responsibilities:
6. Oversee the tendering process for medium to large-scale projects (132-400kV) across Substations and Renewables sectors.
7. Establish and maintain effective communication and negotiation with external vendors and suppliers to ensure smooth project engagement.
8. Build and sustain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and industry partners to facilitate seamless collaboration throughout the tender process.
9. Perform detailed cost analyses, comparing tender costs with construction expenses to deliver accurate and reliable estimates.
10. Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their professional development and encouraging teamwork.
11. Identify and report project value changes or potential issues that could impact project delivery or financial outcomes to clients and senior management.
12. Prepare comprehensive reports on tendering activities, including updates on progress, budget assessments, and risk evaluations.
13. Collaborate with business development teams and colleagues to optimize the tender submission and upload processes.
14. Manage time efficiently to meet tight deadlines, ensuring high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements:
20. Hold an electrical trade qualification or relevant tertiary degree in electrical engineering.
21. Possess at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in tendering and project estimation processes.
22. Proficient in Microsoft Excel or equivalent tools for cost analysis and data management.
23. Demonstrate strong leadership skills, promoting teamwork and effective communication within the estimating team.
24. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders, clients, and suppliers.
25. Exhibit a proactive, goal-oriented approach with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility for tasks.
26. Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in tender documentation and cost estimations.
27. Proven track record of meeting targets, with exceptional organizational skills to manage deadlines and competing priorities effectively.
