Key Responsibilities
* As a Civil Technician, you will develop technical skills and management abilities.
* You will be proficient in preparing civil infrastructure drawings and details for site development, roads infrastructure, transportation infrastructure, public health infrastructure, etc.
* Deliver project drawings to the required technical standards in a timely manner and report to the project manager.
* Oversee and check standards on project drawings by junior technicians.
* The ideal candidate will have experience producing 2D drawings in Autocad and 3D model designs in Autodesk Civil 3D.
* Carry out site inspections and attend Design Team meetings.
* Work according to company ISO procedures.
* Prepare risk assessments and health & safety plans.
* Effective communication skills to facilitate interaction with colleagues, team members, contractors, and clients.
* Develop staff skills through mentoring, delegation, and training.
* Maintain high quality of output.
Requirements
* A Higher Certificate (NFQ Level 6) in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
* Knowledge and experience of AutoCad 2D & AutoDesk Civil 3D are essential.
* Leadership skills to plan, manage, and direct resources to solve complex problems in multidisciplinary teams.
* Commercial understanding and application.
* A successful track record working closely in partnership with clients, contractors, and design teams.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Appreciation of the full Project Delivery Process. A positive, proactive approach with adaptability.
* Commitment to CPD and competence.
