What You’ll Do
As an HR team member, your key responsibilities will include:
* Recruitment and Onboarding: Supporting the hiring process by identifying talented individuals, assisting with interviews, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
* Employee Support: Acting as a first point of contact for staff queries, providing guidance on policies, and fostering a positive work environment.
* Training and Development: Coordinating training sessions and helping employees develop skills to excel in their roles.
* HR Administration: Maintaining accurate employee records, preparing contracts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment law.
* Team Engagement: Promoting a culture of recognition and well-being through employee engagement initiatives.
* Performance Management: Assisting in appraisals and supporting managers in driving performance within their teams.
Who You Are
We’re looking for someone with:
* A background in retail or customer service, preferably with team leadership or supervisory experience.
* A passion for helping others and a genuine interest in HR and people management.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A detail-oriented approach and good organizational skills.
* Enthusiasm for problem-solving and the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.
