About the team:
You will be joining the EMEA sales function, on a team of new business Account Executives focused on accelerating Chargebee's growth across the region. This role is based in Dublin and works in close partnership with the Business Development, Marketing, and Solutions Engineering teams to run full end-to-end sales cycles and deliver quarterly revenue goals. The team places strong emphasis on go-to-market strategy, execution, and cross-functional collaboration, with a culture centered on continuous learning and development.
About the role:
A mid-market Account Executive at Chargebee focuses on winning new business across both D2C and B2B markets. In this role, you'll meet directly with C-suite leaders, showing how Chargebee Retention can make a measurable impact on their business. You'll team up with colleagues across Solutions, Customer Success, Marketing, and Revenue to run strong sales cycles and help customers get lasting value from our product.
What you will be doing (Role and Responsibilities):
* Meet and exceed quarterly sales quotas by landing and expanding strategic mid-market accounts.
* Own your pipeline by generating 3x–4x coverage through a mix of inbound lead management and outbound prospecting, leveraging use-case-driven marketing content and case studies.
* Lead high-value discovery and demo calls, multi-threading across mid-market organizations to help customers understand and realize Chargebee Retention's value.
* Clearly articulate Chargebee Retention's ROI-focused value proposition, while understanding the subscription billing landscape and competitive players.
* Bring a growth mindset, educating customers on best practices in billing, retention, and revenue recognition as they modernize and scale their businesses.
* Manage the full sales cycle end-to-end, collaborating closely with solutions consultants, internal executives, customer success, and legal/finance teams to drive successful outcomes.
Required skills and experience:
* 3+ years of mid-market sales experience, with a strong record of consistently achieving or exceeding quarterly quotas.
* Demonstrated success selling complex SaaS solutions to C-suite executives and navigating multi-stakeholder sales cycles across both technical and business audiences.
* Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to uncover customer needs and deliver insights that drive long-term subscription modernization and retention.
* Relevant domain knowledge in marketing or growth technologies, automation, analytics, AI/ML, CRM, or broader SaaS platforms.
* Highly adaptable and organized, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, pre-IPO environment.
* Demonstrated strength in CRM hygiene, forecasting accuracy, and effective cross-functional collaboration.
* Ability to influence and lead through credibility, curiosity, creativity, and strong commercial judgment.
* A proactive, hands-on team player who builds trust across the organization.
* Ability to travel up to 25% of the time based on business needs.
Preferred qualifications:
* Familiarity with Chargebee or other subscription billing systems
* Experience in the FinTech space
* French language skills
* Bachelors Degree
