We in Beacon Medical Group are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our team on a 14-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This is a great opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified accountant to gain valuable experience within a dynamic finance function and make a meaningful contribution during a key period.
The Role:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts, by providing business and financial performance
* Preparation of budgets and forecasting
* External reporting (Bank, VAT, Intrastat, Bank)
* Oversee working capital and operating cash flows
* Group Consolidation, Balance Sheet reconciliations, Fixed Assets Register.
* Liaise with internal and external auditors & Tax advisors.
* Banking and covenant compliance reporting
* Other Ad hoc duties
Th Person
* Candidate must be a qualified accountant with minimum 3+ years relevant experience in a similar role
* Monthly management accounts preparation experience is essential, and in the healthcare sector advantageous
* The candidate must have strong technical accounting skills
* Ability to plan and meet deadlines
* Strong organisational skills
* Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with clinical staff across the group and stakeholders
* Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
* Team player, but able to work independently.
* Good general IT skills (Sage, MS Office, online banking, ROS etc).
