Duties:
1.
Comfortable managing the entire design process; researching and identifying areas of opportunity, generating compelling concepts, prototyping and development, design for manufacture.
2.
Engaging with clients as the main point of contact for projects, updating progress, reacting to their needs, ensuring projects run smoothly.
3.
Managing team members to ensure quality work is produced and delivered on time.
4.
Preparing and running ideation workshops both internally and with clients.
5.
Comfortable generating CAD assemblies, preparing for DFM, liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure integrity of the design.
Essential Skills:
1.
CAD - SolidWorks or Creo (would be an advatage)
2.
Surfacing
3.
DFM (design for manufacture)
4.
Sketching
5.
Concept Generation
