Position: Technical Advisor (Building Physics, Fire, Acoustics and Energy Efficiency)

Parker Stewart are partnering with a major construction and manufacturing organisation who are looking to hire an experienced Technical Advisor. This role will be based in Dublin and it will on a hybrid basis.
A key function for this role is to provide support in the areas of Building Physics, Fire, Acoustics and Energy Efficiency.
Key Duties:
* Handling of Technical Sales to internal and external customers, including active promotion of full product ranges
* Support sales & specification teams (work with specifiers, merchants, builders and representative bodies on all matters relating to building systems
* Proficient utilisation of industry tools, including but not limited to BIM, Cad, U-value calculator, Thermal modelling and WUFI/Hygrothermal analysis software
* Professionally develop and maintain a working knowledge of Safety, Building Regulations & other directives, regulations and standards
* Consultation with Architects and other industry professionals
Experience & Qualifications Required:
* Relevant construction professional qualification
* Strong ICT skills (particularly Microsoft Office)
* AutoCAD, Revit (desirable)
* Demonstrable strong technical experience within the construction industry
* Minimum 5 years' Technical support experience in business to business (b2b) sector
