As Lead Care Manager, you will assist the Home Manager in creating a safe, caring, and professional atmosphere for young people and staff.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring staff have clear knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
* Supporting staff awareness and understanding of their duties as mandated reporters, through Designated Liaison Person (DLP) role.
* Covering on-call shifts as required.
* Collaborating with management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
* Overseeing budgets and ensuring compliance with policy and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A Level 7 qualification or higher in Social Care, Social Work, Health and Social, Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy, Youth & Community, Teaching, Nursing, Social Science, Addiction Counselling, Counselling/Psychotherapy, Family Support, Disability Studies, or Applied Behavioural Analysis.
* A Level 8 qualification or higher in Psychology.
Essential Experience:
* At least 3 years of relevant experience working in children's residential care, including 2 years at a team leader level.
* Flexibility to work varied shifts if required.
