Senior Maintenance Manager
This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. The Senior Maintenance Manager will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and making available all equipment used in production. Utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), they will schedule and track maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime.
Key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring best practice approach for spare part management to minimize operational disruption.
* Providing technical input to maintenance-related quality incidents and implementing an ongoing program to increase maintenance Right First Time (RFT) tasks.
* Ensuring that the maintenance structure is fit for purpose, standardizing approaches and practices while implementing changes using an effective change management approach.
* Building a high-trust culture within a diverse and talented technical support team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to resolve technical challenges and optimize processes.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A degree in Engineering (mechanical/electrical/mechatronics).
* At least 5 years' experience in a similar role in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment, with technical team leadership.
* Strong exposure to process equipment best-practice maintenance, including CMMS and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).
* Demonstrated ability to enhance skills, capabilities, and performance of maintenance personnel.
* Excellent communication and documentation skills.
* Numerate with good financial/budgeting skills and ability to use CMMS to influence maintenance efficiencies.
