Job Title: Daycare at Home Worker
Our organization is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide person-centred care to people with dementia in their own homes. As a Daycare at Home Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients and their families.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality care to individuals with dementia, ensuring their dignity and well-being are maintained at all times.
* Build trusting relationships with clients and their carers, fostering a sense of security and welcome in our service.
* Assist in the assessment and updating of care plans for each client, working collaboratively with our Nurse/Daycare Manager.
* Carry out care plan activities, providing personal care as needed, including help with meals, toileting, and other daily tasks.
* Ensure timely reporting of observations and maintain accurate records of client interactions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, carers, and colleagues.
* Good organisational and observational skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
* Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, while also being a team player who contributes to the on-going development and enhancement of our service.
* Training in dementia, care of elderly, or related areas is desirable, although not essential for this role.
