Our client, a privately owned Irish company based in Longford, is seeking to recruit a Project Manager. As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in leading complex, multisite projects across international manufacturing facilities. You'll be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time and within scope, while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. This role requires proactive coordination of crossfunctional teams and thirdparty suppliers, clear communication with stakeholders at all levels, and the ability to identify and escalate risks when needed. You'll manage multiple projects simultaneously, contribute to the ongoing development of project management tools and processes, and help strengthen the professional PM community through coaching, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage projects throughout the full lifecycle, from initiation to completion.Define project scope, deliverables, resource needs, and timelines using project management tools.Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including Statements of Work, risk registers, and meeting notes.Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and expectation alignment.Coordinate and delegate tasks, manage team dynamics, and resolve conflicts.Monitor project risks, escalate issues when necessary, and ensure timely resolution.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.Take full ownership of project outcomes with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.Support continuous improvement by updating project management tools and processes.Mentor new Project Managers and participate in professional development activities.Support strategic initiatives and special projects as assigned.RequirementsBachelor's Degree in a technical or business field or a combination of education, skills, and experienceAt least 7 years of experience in a Project Management roleExperience in injection molding, contract manufacturing, or a closely related industryMedical device industry experience (strongly preferred)Direct customer interaction experiencePMP certification (required or must be obtained within 6 months)Ability to work in a hybrid (onsite/offsite) environment at management discretionWillingness and ability to travel occasionally domestically and infrequently internationallySkillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsStrong organisational skillsProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and TeamsExperience with Smartsheet or other project management information software (preferred)BenefitsCompetitive salaryCompany pension schemeShare value planRelocation assistanceIncentive bonusFlexible working arrangementReady to take the next step in your career?
