At Braathens, we believe in dedication, flexibility, and the small details that power big success.We are now looking for a committed and experienced Powerplant Engineer to join our CAMO team and help keep our engines – and our fleet – performing at their best.About the Role: Powerplant Engineer (CAMO)As a Powerplant Engineer, you’ll work within our Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO), in accordance with EASA Part CAMO regulations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our aircraft engines, supporting both jet and turboprop platforms.Together with your colleagues, you’ll play a central role in optimizing engine performance, maintenance strategies, and long-term reliability across the Braathens fleet.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with airworthiness directives (ADs), regulations, and OEM guidelinesPlan and manage engine shop visits, including developing work scopes based on regulatory and OEM standardsEvaluate and implement modifications, reliability improvements, and maintenance interval changesMonitor engine-related KPIs and follow up on performance and cost efficiency in collaboration with MRO providersSupport RFP processes, contract negotiations, and supplier managementMaintain open communication with OEMs, suppliers, and internal departmentsContribute to the continuous improvement of engine systems and fleet reliabilityYour ProfileWe are looking for someone with the following background:Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or EASA Part-66 licenseStrong understanding of EASA regulations (Part M, Part CAMO, and Part-145)Experience managing ADs, SBs, repairs, and modificationsPrevious experience in maintenance and planning of jet and/or turboprop enginesFamiliarity with aviation maintenance documentation, standards, and technical systemsProficient with computers and standard office softwareExperience with supplier management and contract negotiation (advantageous)Knowledge of MMIS AMOS (advantageous)Familiarity with compliance management systems (advantageous)Excellent communication skills in both English and Swedish, written and spokenWho You AreAnalytical and detail-oriented with a structured, proactive mindsetAble to work independently while being a collaborative team playerA strong communicator who builds trust across teams and external partnersPassionate about quality, safety, and continuous improvementPositive, engaged, and someone who believes work should be both productive and enjoyableComfortable representing the company professionally and open to occasional travelWhat We OfferYou’ll join a modern, inclusive workplace where collaboration and continuous improvement are part of our DNA.
