Position Overview
The Regional Manager for Dublin/Leinster leads and coordinates all Eirdata operations in the region, ensuring the consistent delivery of high quality validation, commissioning, HVAC compliance, and related technical services. The role manages day to day operations, resource planning, client relationships, and team performance across multiple sites.
Reporting to the General Manager and contributing as part of the extended Eirdata leadership team, the Regional Manager upholds Eirdata’s standards of technical excellence, safety, and regulatory compliance. The role ensures all work meets GMP, client, and internal quality requirements while also supporting business growth through strong client engagement, commercial awareness, and continuous improvement in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Lead and manage all Eirdata operations within the Dublin/Leinster region, ensuring consistent, high quality service delivery.
Oversee daily scheduling, resource utilisation, and performance against agreed KPIs.
Conduct site visits, operational reviews, and quality checks to maintain technical and regulatory standards.
Ensure all work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project timelines and budgets.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Act as the primary point of contact for key regional clients, fostering strong and trusted relationships.
Lead client meetings, address escalations, and proactively manage expectations.
Support the development of proposals, scopes of work, and contract renewals to drive service continuity and growth.
Identify opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and expand Eirdata’s footprint in the region.
Lead, mentor, and support regional engineering and validation teams to ensure high performance and engagement.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and capability development of new team members.
Conduct performance reviews, set development plans, and promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Resource & Project Coordination
Manage regional resource planning across validation, commissioning, and HVAC compliance activities.
Coordinate closely with Validation Leads, Project Leads, and other ESS Group functions to optimise delivery and support multisite integration.
Manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring alignment with quality, safety, and commercial expectations.
Manage regional budgets, profitability, and cost controls.
Review and approve quotations, monitor financial performance, and contribute to forecasting activities.
Support timely invoicing, commercial accuracy, and identification of efficiency improvements or new revenue opportunities.
Compliance, Safety & Quality
Ensure all regional operations comply with GMP, safety legislation, and Eirdata SOPs.
Support internal and external audits, quality investigations, and safety assessments.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all team members adhere to quality and safety processes.
Champion a proactive safety culture across all sites and service lines.
Education & Qualifications
Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Qualification or formal training in Supervisory Management, People Leadership, or Project Management is a strong advantage.
Solid understanding of regulated environments, particularly GMP and cleanroom/compliance standards.
Experience Requirements
Proven experience in a regional, site, or supervisory management role within validation, commissioning, HVAC compliance, or similar technical service environments.
Experience leading and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams across multiple client sites.
Demonstrated ability to manage operational delivery, including scheduling, resource planning, and performance tracking.
Background working in GMP regulated, cleanroom, or controlled environments, with a strong understanding of compliance expectations.
Experience representing technical teams in client facing roles, addressing escalations, and building strong professional relationships.
Exposure to commercial aspects such as reviewing quotations, supporting budgeting, or contributing to financial performance.
Eligibility to work in Ireland.
