Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Environmental Operations Coordinator to join our laboratory team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental chemistry and analytical techniques.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily laboratory operations, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of samples. They will also be responsible for conducting testing as needed, releasing technical reports and daily results to customers through our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), and maintaining accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the laboratory team to facilitate smooth daily operations.
* Ensure all samples are registered, prepared, and subcontracted on time with precise information.
* Conduct testing as needed to meet customer and operational demands.
* Release technical reports and daily results to customers through LIMS.
* Manage subcontract workflow, liaising with subcontract labs for timely results.
* Address customer queries and complaints, providing outstanding support.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A degree in Environmental Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field is required. Previous experience in an accredited contract testing laboratory is preferred, but we will provide comprehensive training for the right candidate. A solid understanding of quality systems and accreditation requirements is also essential.
Proficiency in LIMS systems and MS Office, particularly Excel, is necessary for this role.
