Background
This is a maternity cover role supporting two busy partners in our award-winning Tax team, as well as supporting the wider Commercial group in day-to-day tasks.

Key Responsibilities
Providing comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to partners and other colleagues in the Tax practice group and wider Commercial team.
Comprehensive email and diary management.
Managing AML requirements for client onboarding, ensuring all procedures are followed.
Managing the billing process to include time entry, invoicing, client account balances and follow up on outstanding payments.
Managing audit/accrual requests for clients.
Maintaining electronic files to ensure all records are up to date and easily accessible.
Creating, editing and formatting legal documents and templates.
Digital dictation.
Coordinating travel arrangements, meetings and itineraries.
Processing expenses.
Maintaining and updating client marketing database.
Ad-hoc duties as required.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
4+ years' experience as a Legal Secretary PA/EA, ideally within a law firm.
In-depth experience with client billing/payments systems.
Excellent IT skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
High degree of attention to detail.
Typing skills of at least 60 words per minute.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written.
Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
Team player, who can also work on their own initiative.
