Project Director Position
We are seeking an experienced project director to lead the delivery of a complex, multi-stakeholder project within a broader transformation program.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and manage multidisciplinary teams, including solution architects, engineers, business analysts, testers, and business readiness specialists.
* Develop and manage project budgets, charters, plans, risks, and resource requirements.
* Ensure delivery against scope, time, cost, and quality metrics.
* Engage with senior stakeholders across IT, underwriting, sales, and finance departments.
* Govern vendor and third-party contributions to project outcomes.
* Provide clear reporting and risk management to program leadership and steering groups.
* Facilitate service transition and production readiness.
Requirements:
* Minimum 7 years' experience in project management, preferably in large-scale transformation initiatives.
* Proven track record in legacy system migration within a financial services environment.
* Strong experience across the full project lifecycle and governance models.
* Background in general insurance, life assurance, or financial services is highly preferred.
* Proficiency with MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Relevant certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM) are required.
* Agile/Scrum experience is an advantage.
