Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
Experience programming in C++.
Experience with software design.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
Experience or interest in networking technologies/concepts such as Software Defined Networking (SDN).
Understanding of Internet routing technologies and router/switch telemetry.
Experience architecting and developing software for scalable, distributed systems.
Experience with coding in data structures and algorithms.

Responsibilities
Analyze production data to uncover gaps, error patterns, and opportunities for existing systems.
Design, develop, integrate and test the features.
Diagnose and resolve root cause issues within highly integrated ecosystems, including traffic engineering and admission control.
Mentor team members and partner teams understand the broader context, and solve the right problems at the right time.
Respond effectively to changes in the execution plan when they enable the right impact for Google.
