Data Engineer *** Hybrid working in Dublin *** Highly competitive benefits packageParker Stewart is currently working with a large internationally acclaimed corporate employer who right now have an exciting opportunity for an experiencedData Engineerto join their growing IT team.What you will be doing;The support, development and rollout of data engineering solutions such as Data Integrations, ETL development and Data Warehousing OperationsHands on development of data engineering solutions using a variety of tools – Oracle (PL/SQL), Microsoft Data & Analytics technology stack (T-SQL, SSRs, SSIS, SSAS), Microsoft DevOps Tools (Azure DevOps, C#) and TARGITMaintenance & upgrading of data and analytics applications to ensure they are maintained and patched to the required levelsVersion Control, Change and Release management of data and analytics solutions through DevOps life cycleCollaborate with Business Stakeholders and wider IT to deliver and support data and analytics solutionsParticipate in requirements, analysis and testing of data engineering solutions in collaboration with business users and/or wider data & analytics team membersExperience required:2+ Years of data and analytics hands on technical development experience with proven track recordStrong programming and application development skills using Microsoft and/or Oracle technologiesETL programming skills, including experience with large code bases, complex data structures, and a variety of data & analytics development toolsHands on data and analytics development skills using Microsoft Data & Analytics technology stack – T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS and SSRSData Warehouse Dimension/Relational modelling and Cube development skills is advantageProgramming knowledge using APIs for Data Integrations with C#, SOAP/REST, etc., is desirableExperience of data & analytics reporting/visualisation tools such as TARGIT, Power BIAgile Development & Project Methodologies experienceExperience of DevOps/Data Ops is favourableStrong communication skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsIf interested, please apply now or contact Christine McCarthy at Parker Stewart for more information.
