Role Overview
As part of Sysco, the world's leading foodservice provider, Sysco is a leading supplier to the catering sector and we are currently recruiting for Multi‑Drop Delivery Drivers to join our existing dynamic and successful teams at our Newcastle West Distribution Centre.
Salary: €43,369.66 per annum plus tax‑free subsistence allowance of €16.50 per qualifying day worked and €2,500 sign‑on bonus (paid in 3 instalments over 12 months). Responsibilities
Driving a multi‑drop vehicle with a Category C licence.
Providing outstanding customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Using a digital tachograph and completing associated paperwork accurately.
Keeping to delivery routes and timetables.
Reporting vehicle maintenance and any incidents.
Essential Criteria
Full Category C Driving Licence.
Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) Card.
Digital tachograph card.
Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to complete paperwork in an orderly fashion.
Good organisational and prioritising skills.
Leadership skills.
Desirable Criteria
At least 1 year of previous Multi‑Drop Delivery Experience.
Good geographical knowledge.
Experience with temperature‑controlled deliveries (advantageous but not required).
