Finance Manager Kilkenny (Office-Based) Our client, a leading company in the construction/engineering industry is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to oversee financial operations. The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE). Experience in an international setting is an advantage. The successful individual will report to the MD and will be supported in their role by finance at Group level. Duties of the role will include: Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance. Manage and support the finance team in their day-to-day activities. Handle VAT returns, corporate tax filings, and overall tax compliance. Liaise with external auditors and ensure a smooth audit process. Provide financial insights to support decision-making within a project-based environment. Requirements: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent). Minimum 5 years PQE, preferably in a leadership role. Strong experience in financial reporting, tax compliance, and audits. Background in the construction/engineering industry preferred. International finance experience would be a distinct advantage.
