Overview
Infrastructure Design Services is a team of Technology Architects and Engineers responsible for the analysis and design of the infrastructure framework to fit the application, platform or system needs in-line with MasterCard's operational, scalability, and availability standards and principles.
Role

Serve as the lead infrastructure design authority for assigned programs, partnering with product and engineering teams to document, design, and validate infrastructure required to support their products and deployments.
Produce and own infrastructure technical designs (e.g., TADs, deployment models, dependency mappings), ensuring designs enable reliable, repeatable, and secure deployments across environments.
Collaborate with security, network, and platform architecture teams to ensure designs are secure-by-design, compliant, and aligned to enterprise and Zero Trust standards.
Act as a technical mentor and design reviewer, providing guidance, feedback, and quality oversight across infrastructure designs.

All About You

Deep experience in infrastructure design and automation within large-scale enterprise environments, including IaC and configuration management (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or similar).
Strong background designing infrastructure across compute, storage, virtualization, container, and platform services, with a focus on automation enablement.
Proven ability to translate program and product requirements into clear, deployable infrastructure designs and standards.
Experience collaborating across product, platform, security, and operations teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Strong documentation, communication, and technical leadership skills.
Experience working within highly regulated or security-focused environment.
Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, or Information Systems, or equivalent experience. (preferred)
