Lead Nurse for Ambulatory Day Ward
The successful candidate will have significant experience as a Clinical Nurse Manager in an acute hospital setting. In this role, you will provide clinical leadership and supervision to the point of care team, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care.
Prior experience in a management position is desirable but not essential. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to motivate staff, and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice within the ward.

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide clinical leadership and supervision to the point of care team
* Clinical decision-making regarding patient care
* Staff management including recruitment, appraisal, training & disciplinary procedures.
* Maintain standards of quality within ward area
In addition to these responsibilities you are expected to work closely with other departments such as Nursing Management structure by supporting senior staff members when required. You should also maintain all necessary clinical records up-to-date and reporting arrangements. Required Qualifications:
1. You must be registered or eligible for registration with NMBI (Nursing & Midwifery Board Ireland)
2. A minimum three years' post-registration experience preferably on day case unit or acute surgical ward
