This is aninterim 18 month FTC - Head of Finance role. Reporting into the CEO for Ireland, with a dotted line into the Group CFO, you will oversee and mentor a team across all aspects of budgeting, financial reporting, and tax reportingAbout the PositionAn adept communicator with strong stakeholder management skills, and ability to provide clear direction and ambition for the finance function will be key for this role, to further support and enable the company's strategic ambitions and road map.Key Responsibilities:Lead and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual reports along with preparation of the annual statutory accountsLead out on the monthly management reports, ensuring key financial KPIs and trends are identified, understood and shared in a concise manner for multiple cross functional stakeholders.Ensure thorough preparation of MI pack decks to support all Board CommitteesOversight of all fiscal and tax reportingManage the treasury activities ensuring robust controls are in placeBe a key liaison with external auditors during the annual statutory and regulatory audit process.Manage proactively on all other key stakeholder relationships such as the CBI, external expert advisors etc.Experience/Requirements:Natural leader with great interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with cross functional teams.ACCA / ACA/ CIMA qualified with ideally year's PQE within insurance, with at least 5 operating at a senior management / head of level ideally.Solid understanding and skills in regulatory obligations of re/insurance companiesDecisive, strong influencing skills and facilitator of proactive teamwork and collaborationCurrent / Previous Pre-Approved Control Function (PCF) holder ideally.
