Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive Occupational Therapy services to adults and older adults, including physical, sensory, and cognitive assessments and interventions
Conduct and implement appropriate assessments, including seating, hoists & slings, and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Support individuals in achieving independence following physical, social, emotional, and mental health challenges
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, social workers, speech & language therapists, and physiotherapists
Liaise effectively with patients' families and relevant external agencies
Engage in Continuing Professional Development (CPD), including participation in training and staff development days
Participate in regular service review meetings with clients to support continuous improvement
Requirements
CORU Registration
A broad range of undergraduate clinical experience with elderly care being desirable but not essential
Strong written and verbal skills
Specialist mentoring and guidance from experienced clinical professionals
Ongoing support from the Operations Management Team
Flexible working arrangements, including options for weekend or evening schedules if preferred
